This also occurs commonly in breastfeeding or pregnant mothers. The symptoms are similar to the breast abscess except that there is no "pointing" area of maximal tenderness or fluctuance.

If mild symptoms:

	Medicine	Dose	Frequency	Duration
	cloxacillin po	500mg	4 times a day	7 days
or	clindamycin po	450mg	3 times a day	7 days

If severe then admission and IV treatment as in breast abscess discussed above.
