The Prescribing Companion App is intended for use by healthcare professionals in human and animal health, as a reference resource for guidance on antimicrobial prescribing and AMS activities. The App is not intended for use by the general public and does not replace the advice of a healthcare professional.

National standard antimicrobial treatment guidelines are available from individual countries. These guidelines are solely provided ‘as is’ from each country following a CPA governance process and agreement from the country to share on an international platform. No edits or updates are made to these guidelines by the CPA. The CPA does not take any responsibility or liability for any treatment, doses, errors or omissions and does not guarantee the accuracy and completeness of these guidelines.
The SPARC programme finishes in September 2022, after which each individual country is responsible for uploading, maintaining and updating their country-specific guidelines. Users are advised to check if materials accessed via the App may be out of date. The CPA makes no commitment to update such material.
